We are getting closer to leave for South Africa! The hurry-up-and-get-things-done shuffle has begun! I tend to travel light. I learned years ago that there are generally stores close by to purchase what you forget. I think I am going to take my hard-shell Samsonite roller bag (it has already seen the miles over the years) and check it. I will also take a duffle type bag for carry on clothes. I will take a man-purse with my Asus mini-laptop, MP3 player, extra batteries, digital 10 megapixel camera (plenty of SD), Flip video cam, Sony Treo cell phone, noise cancellation headphones and WD pocket hard drive. Plus, I have some books to go with me too! The Bible, Daily Prayers and The Shack. I will probably take some deacon homework with me too (at least one book).
